Stabbing

On September 13, 2020, police responded to multiple witness reports of several individuals covered in blood in the area of Evergreen Blvd at approximately 4:14 pm. Police located one individual nearby who had been stabbed three times in the upper body. The 22-year-old male victim was transported by ambulance to BRHC, where he received treatment and is expected to make a full recovery.

Police located the 44-year-old female suspect nearby and arrested her. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court on November 30, 2020 on a charge of Assault with a Weapon. The investigation revealed that the suspect and the victim were known to one another.

 

Break and Enter

On September 13, 2020, police responded to a report of a Break and Enter to a residential garage on Falcon Crescent. Suspects were believed to have gained entry over night through an unlocked door. Stolen were a socket set, slip saw, IPhone 6, work boots and vehicle keys. Anyone with information regarding this Break and Enter is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service.

 

Possession of Meth and Cocaine

On September 14, 2020, police conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of 1st street shortly before 4:00 am. A passenger of the vehicle was found to be the subject of a court ordered curfew. Upon his arrest, he was found to be in possession of 2.4 grams of meth and 2.5 grams of cocaine. The 30-year-old male was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Fail to Comply with Recognizance X 3, Fail to Comply with Probation, and Possession of Meth and Cocaine.

 

Arrest Warrants

Two individuals were located and arrested on outstanding warrants. A 23-year-old female will appear in court on charges of Fail to Appear in Court, Break and Enter and Theft Under $5000. A 33-year-old male will appear in court on charges of Fail to Appear in Court and Assault PO.

 

Breach of Peace

On September 13, 2020, shortly before midnight, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence. A 31-year-old female inside the residence was acting violently and causing damage to the property. To prevent her actions from causing further harm, she was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
