The City of Brandon currently offers a reimbursement program for labour and equipment costs related to the removal of sewer blockages caused by tree roots. The Sewer & Water department will assess your claim by physically reviewing the location of the trees in related to the sewer service line. Trees located on private property only are not eligible for reimbursement. You may submit up to 2 paid invoices per calendar year, including invoices dated up to a year prior at the date of submission.
Please note, the company performing the work must hold a valid City of Brandon business license. This requirement does not apply to invoices for personal use equipment rentals from a rental company.
