Brandon Fire & Emergency Services Prevention Division requires permits or completed forms in order to comply with the Fire Prevention and Open Air Fire Policies. If you do not have online access, a paper copy of the permit can be obtained at either Fire Hall. Any questions can be emailed to fire@brandon.ca. Permits are issued subject to any applicable fees as set out in the City of Brandon Fee Schedule. If paying in person, you can do so at #1 Fire Hall. Only cash or cheque is accepted.
Note: Only current permit applications will be accepted. It is not necessary to renew fire pit permits every year. A new application is required if there has been a change in information from the original application or in property ownership. An inspection of the proposed site/appliance will be required prior to use of the appliance and issuance of the permit.
Miscellaneous Permits
No person shall purchase fireworks, fire, set off, or otherwise ignite any fireworks in or above the
City except under a permit issued by the Fire Chief which is required to be in compliance with the
conditions of the Brandon Fire and Emergency Services Regulation "31".
