Possess Meth

On October 6, 2020, police stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of Pacific Ave at approximately 6:00 am.  A 39-year-old female occupant was found to be in breach of court ordered conditions.  She was also found to be in possession of Meth upon her arrest.  She will appear in court on December 10, 2020 on charges of Fail to Comply with Release Order and Possess Controlled Substance.

 

Sexual Assault

On September 16, 2020, police received a report of a sexual assault, which occurred in the fall of 2017.  An investigation into the incident revealed that the suspect touched the adult victim without consent while at a local drinking establishment.  On October 6, 2020, the 44-year-old male suspect was arrested.  He will appear in court on December 21, 2020.

 

Arrest Warrants

On October 6, 2020, a 23-year-old male suspect attended to Brandon Police Service, as he was aware of an outstanding warrant for his arrest.  He will appear in court on November 9, 2020 on a charge of Fail to comply with Probation.

On October 6, 2020, police located a 43-year-old male suspect who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court.  Upon his arrest, he was also found to be in possession of a stolen IPad.  The suspect was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.

On October 7, 2020, police responded to a disturbance at an apartment.  One of the individuals present was found to be the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant.  The 52-year-old male was arrested and will appear in court on November 19, 2020 on a charge of Possess Meth.

 

Breach of Peace

On October 7, 2020 at approximately 12:40 am, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence.  Occupants were intoxicated, damaging property, and no longer welcome.  A 26-year-old male and a 28-year-old female were arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to prevent the situation from escalating. 

On October 7, 2020 at approximately 5:30 am, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male banging on strangers doors, and taking the cover off an air conditioner unit in the 300 block of 15th street.  The 25-year-old male was located and arrested.  He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

 

IPDA

On October 7, 2020 at 1:30 am, police responded to a report of a male passed out on private property in the 2700 block of McTavish Ave.  The 27-year-old male was in no condition to care for himself, so he was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
