Domestic Assault

At 0807 hours Wednesday morning police attended to the 300 block of 13th street after receiving a report that a male had been assaulted by his girlfriend. Upon arrival the victim was found to have injuries consistent with being assaulted.  A 52 year old female resident of Brandon was taken into custody and released on Undertaking when she sobered.

Robbery

At 1243 hours Wednesday afternoon police received a report of a Robbery at business in the Corral Centre.  An unknown subject attempted to leave the store with unpaid items in a bag.  When approached by staff he pulled out a machete that was concealed inside his jacket.  The male then stated he was leaving. A search of the area for the subject by police was conducted. No arrest have been made at this time.  This complaint is still under Investigation.

Breach of Court order

At 0100hours Thursday morning, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of 18th street.  During the stop a 31 year old female passenger was found to be breaching two conditions of her Recognizance order by not following her curfew and failing to notify her change of address.  The Brandon resident was lodged to appear in court later this day.

 Theft Under $5,000

On September 5th 2020 an employee from a business located in the 800 block of Victoria reported the theft of numerous items by an unknown female.  The female attempted to leave the store without paying for her items.  When approached by staff she fled.  The investigation has identified a 33 year old suspect.  A warrant has been requested for her arrest.
