Domestic Assault / Impaired Driver
Shortly before 7:30 pm police were called to a residence on the 500 block of Braecrest Dr with regards to a female that was assaulted by her partner. The male fled in a vehicle prior to police arrival and drove through a fence while fleeing. A short time later police located the vehicle on the 2800 block of Pacific Av. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver showed signs of impaiment. As a result a 34 year old male was arrested for the domestic assault as well as Operation While Impaired, Operation With or Equal to 80mg/%, and Fail to Stop at the Scene of an Accident. He was released with an Undertaking to appear in court on October 19th.
Impaired Driver
Shorlty after 2:30 am police conducted a traffic stop on the 1900 block of Richmond Av. The driver showed signs of Impairment. As a result a 23 year old male was arrested for Operation While Impaired and Operation With or Equal to 80mg/%. He was released with an Appearance Notice to appear in court on October 19th.
Domestic Assault
Shortly after 8:30 am on October 13th, police responded to a report that a female was assaulted by her boyfriend at a residence on the 3700 block of Centennial Blvd. Upon police arrival a 32 year old male was arrested for Assault. He was released with an Undertaking to appear in court on December 28th.
Warrants
Shorlty after 4:30 pm a traffic stop was conducted on the 1300 block of 18th St. The driver was found to have five outstanding warrants for Failing to Comply with Release Orders, Break, Enter and Commit an Indictable offence, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Flight from Police. As a result the 26 year old male was arrested and lodged for court.
Shortly before 4:30 pm police arrested a 29 year old male on the 900 block of Princess Av for an outstanding warrant for Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. The male was subsequently released with an Appearance Notice to appear in court on November 9th.
Other Arrests
Shortly after 2:30 am police located a highly intoxicated male in the area of 10th St and Pacific Av. A 36 year old male was medically cleared and lodged at BPS cells for his safety.
