Theft Under $5000
A 24 year old Brandon woman was arrested on Sunday for a theft from a business on Victoria Ave that occurred on September 24th. A suspect stole $120 in clothing from the business and was identified from surveillance video. She will appear in court in November.
Carry Concealed Weapon
A 42 year old man from Portage la Prairie was arrested around 2:00 am following disturbance in the 200 block of 9th St. The man was yelling in the street and when checked by an officer, there was a warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and searched, which revealed a large knife hidden in his waistband. He was lodged and will be released to appear in court in December.
