Recovered Weapon

On March 5, 2020 shortly after 8:00 pm, members of Brandon Bear Clan contacted police to report that they had discovered a gun in the 700 block of Rosser Ave. The gun was concealed beneath part of a building structure. Police attended and retrieved the gun, which was discovered to be a pistol style BB gun. It is unknown who the gun belongs to.

Theft Under $5000

On February 21, 2020, police received a report of the theft of merchandise from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Ave. Employees observed the male suspect get into a vehicle and drive away after they were able to obtain a licence plate. Images from the security cameras also assisted in identifying the 49-year-old male suspect. He was located and arrested on March 5, 2020. He will appear in court on May 4, 2020 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

Arrest Warrant

On March 5, 2020, shortly after 6:00 pm, police observed a female who was known to them to be wanted on outstanding charges, as she was walking in the 3500 block of Willowdale Cres. The 23-year-old female was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today on charges of Fail to Comply with Probation.

 

Arrest Warrant

On March 5, 2020, shortly after 8:00pm, police located a male in the 000 block of 9th street who was wanted on outstanding charges. The 33-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon correctional Centre to appear in court today on charges of Fail to Appear, and Fail to comply with Undertaking.

 

IPDA

On March 5, 2020 at approximately 10:30 pm, police responded to a report of an individual who was falling over while walking in the street. Police located the 59-year-old male in the 100 block of Rosser Ave. He was too intoxicated to care for himself. He was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre until sober.

 

Arrest Warrant

On March 5, 2020, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in on Evergreen Blvd at approximately 11:30 pm. The cause of the disturbance was unclear; however, one individual located at the residence was found to be wanted on outstanding charges. The 42-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court today on a charge of Fail to Comply with Probation.
