Theft Under $5000

On February 22, 2020, police responded to a report of a theft of merchandise from a business in the 3400 block of Victoria Ave. Employees from the business observed the suspect concealing the merchandise in his jacket before fleeing.

On March 1, 2020, police arrested the 37-year-old male suspect. He will appear in court today on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

Arrest Warrant/Fail to Comply with Probation

On March 1, 2020, over the noon hour, police received a report of suspicious individuals in the 1500 block of 26th street. An individual located in the area was found to be the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant. The 19-year-old male was arrested and lodged t Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court today on a charge of Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

On March 1, 2020, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male, who was located on the back step of an apartment by a resident shortly before 8:00 am. The 18-year-old male was not able to care for himself while intoxicated, and was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre until sober.

 

Breach of Peace

On March 1, 2020, shortly after 9:00 am, police received a report of an individual whose behavior at a residence was causing concern for those around him as he was screaming and acting out. The 39-year-old male was believed to be under the influence of Meth. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre.

 

Breach of the Peace

On March 1, 2020, police responded to a dispute in a residence shortly after 10:00 am. One of the individuals’ involved was intoxicated, and found to be the main cause of the dispute. The 26-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to prevent the situation from escalating.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On March 1, 2020 shortly before 7:00 pm, police responded to a report of an individual at a business in the 2600 block of Victoria Ave who was intoxicated and refusing to leave. The 19-year-old male suspect repeatedly attempted to purchase items, but had no money; he instead requested the staff pay for him. He was found to be the subject of conditions to abide by, including to abstain from consuming alcohol. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will, appear in court today.

 

Breach of Peace

On March 1, 2020, after 10:00 pm, police received a report of an intoxicated individual causing problems for employees and other patrons at a business in the 800 block of Pacific Ave. The 29-year-old female was given the opportunity to leave on her own accord, but refused. To prevent any further issues, she was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre until sober.

 

Arrest Warrant

On March 1, 2020, police attended to the residence of an individual who was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for Fail to Comply with Undertaking. The 17-year-old male youth was located at home and arrested. He was lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court today.
