Break and Enter to Residence

On March 15, 2020, police received a report of a Break and Enter to a residence on Fernwood Cres. Suspects gained entry to the residence between the afternoon of March 14, 2020 and 11 am on March 15, 2020. Police believe the suspects gained entry by forcing a window after attempts to force a door were unsuccessful. Stolen was alcohol and cash. Anyone with information regarding this Break and Enter is encouraged to contact Brandon Police Service.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On March 15, 2020, police responded to a complaint of an intoxicated male harassing patrons at a business in the 1800 block of Middleton Ave. The suspect was given the opportunity to leave when requested by staff, but refused. The male was to abide by conditions not to consume alcohol. The 54-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today on a charge of Fail to Comply with Release Order.

 

Arrest Warrant

On March 15, 2020, police conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Richmond Ave. One of the passengers was the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant for Fail to Comply with Release Order and Fail to Comply with Probation. The 26-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Center to appear in court today.

 

Theft Under $5000

On March 14, 2020, police received a report of the theft of merchandise from a business in the 900 block of Rosser Ave. Images from security footage assisted in identifying the 23-year-old female suspect who was located and arrested on March 15, 2020. The suspect will appear in court on April 16, 2020 on charges of Theft Under $5000, and Fail to comply with Probation.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On March 16, 2020, police conducted a traffic stop in the 2600 block of McDonald Ave at approximately 1:15 am. The driver was to abide by conditions to be at his home address 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The 37-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today on a charge of Fail to comply with Release Order.

 

Assault

On March 15, 2020, police responded to a report of an assault. The 19-year-old male suspect had assaulted the victim at a residence on more than one occasion. The victim did not require any medical attention. The suspect was arrested and will appear in court on May 4, 2020 on two counts of Assault.
