Assault at BCC
On June 16th a complaint was received from an inmate at BCC that he was assaulted by another inmate. The victim was treated at BRHC for his injuries and returned to BCC. As a result a 32 year old male was arrested for assault cause bodily harm.
Warrants
Shortly before 12:30 pm police responded to a call in Brentwood TC with regards to an intoxicated male laying on the ground and yelling. The 25 year old male was found to have an unendorsed warrant for failing to appear in court. He was arrested and lodged to appear before a JJP in the morning.
Shortly after 12:30 pm police responded to the area of 20th St North and McDonald Ave for an intoxicated male. The 30 year old male was found to have an endorsed warrant for uttering threats. He was lodged and released with an appearance notice when sober. He is to appear in court on August 24th.
Domestic
Just prior to 6:00 pm police responded to a domestic dispute call at a residence on the 300 block of 10th St. Upon arrival a 38 year old female and 46 year old male were located in the residence. It was learned that both parties had assaulted each other. Both individuals were arrested for domestic assault. The female was released with an undertaking to appear in court on July 20th. The male was lodged to appear before a JJP in the morning.
Breach Release Orders
Just prior to 10:00 pm a call was received about an intoxicated male who was yelling and attempting to open car doors on the 400 block of 10th St. This male was located at Superstore. He is on conditions not to consume liquor or other intoxicating substances and not to attend Superstore. As a result a 44 year old male was arrested for failing to comply with his release order and lodged to appear before a JJP in the morning.
Shortly after 1:00 am police responded to a call about a male trying to get into a residence on the zero hundred block of 11th St. The male was located in an intoxicated state and found to be bound by a 9:00 pm curfew. The 28 year old male was arrested and lodged to be released with an appearance notice when sober.
