Assault Peace Officer

Just prior to 1:00 am police observed a male known to have an outstanding warrant for theft under $5,000 on the 600 block of 15th St.  As the male was being placed under arrest he became combative and began to resist.  The male scratched and clawed at the member’s eye, and grabbed at equipment on their belt.  He was eventually subdued and taken into custody.  Upon being searched a small quantity of meth and fentanyl was located as well as a knife.  As a result a 30 year old male was arrested for resist arrest, assault peace officer with intent to resist, fail to comply with release order X3, possession of crystal methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, possess weapon dangerous to public peace as well as the outstanding warrant for theft under $5,000.   He was lodged appear in court in the morning. 

Breach Court Order

On June 17th a complaint was received about a male that was breaching his court order.  As a result a 31 year old male was arrested and released with an appearance notice.  He is to appear in court on August 17th.

Mischief

At 8:45 pm on June 23rd police received a complaint of a male damaging property in front of a business on the 3300 block of Victoria Ave.  As a result a 29 year male was located and found to be intoxicated.  He was arrested and released in the morning when sober with an appearance notice.  He is to appear in court on August 3rd.

Other Arrests  

Shortly after 8:00 pm a 28 year old male was arrested at a residence on the 300 block of 10th St for an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court.  He was subsequently released with an appearance notice to appear in court on August 3rd.

At 10:00 pm a 25 year old male was arrested from a residence on the 200 block of 13th for an outstanding warrant of breach probation.  The male was also found to be bound by a release order with a curfew in which he was not complying with.  He was arrested for the warrant and failing to comply with his release order.  He was lodged and held for court.

Shortly after 3:30 am police attended to a residence on the 300 block of 7th St as police had received several calls from a person in the residence.  As a result a 39 year old male was lodged to prevent further problems.
