Arrest Warrant

On January 1st at 6:48AM a 36-year-old male was noted to be in the 300 block of 9th Street. He was known to have an unendorsed Warrant for Arrest. He was arrested and held in custody and will attend court in the morning.

 

Arrest Warrant

On January 1st at approximately 8:00AM police were called to a residence in Cornell Bay on the complaint of loud music for the past 24 hours. Police attended and while on scene they identified a 29-year-old male who was arrested without incident on the strength of a December 28th, 2024, Warrant for Arrest. Charges pending are Forcible Confinement, Robbery with Weapon, Theft of Motor Vehicle and Flight from Police Officer. The male was held in custody and will attend court in the morning.

 

Breach of Peace

On January 1st at 8:57AM multiple calls were received regarding an intoxicated woman, including a call from the 47-year-old female herself. Police attended a residence in the 700 block of 6th Street where they removed the intoxicated woman to prevent further issues. She was medically cleared and held in detention cells at Brandon Police Service (BPS) to be released once sober.

 

Arrest Warrant

On January 1st at 11:56AM police located a male in the 800 block of 11th Street after he was reported to be trying to instigate fights. The 41-year-old male had an unendorsed Warrant for Arrest for Failure to Attend Court. He was arrested, held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning.

 

Arrest Warrant

On January 1st at 8:25PM a 22-year-old male was located and arrested at his home in the 400 block of Park Street on the strength of an Arrest Warrant. (Breach of Probation). Upon arrest he was held in detention cells and will attend court in the morning.

 

Immediate Roadside Prohibitions

On the evening of January 1st between 11PM and midnight there were two separate incidents where police were notified of impaired drivers.

A 41-year-old male had left a business where he had too much to drink to drive responsibly and the other incident involved a 40-year-old male who had a motor vehicle accident with a snowbank.

In both instances, the vehicles were towed, and the individuals were charged accordingly.
