Arrest Warrants

On January 18th, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. a 28-year-old male turned himself in to Brandon Police as he was aware he had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. He was arrested and released for court on February 15th, 2024.

On January 18th, 2024, at 07:58 a.m. a 30-year-old male turned himself in to Brandon Police as he was aware there was an outstanding family maintenance act warrant. He was arrested and held for court on January 19th, 2024.

On January 18th, 2024, police attended to Brandon Correctional Center to arrest a 33-year-old male inmate for an outstanding family maintenance act warrant. He will appear in court on January 19th, 2024.

On January 18th, 2024, at 3:31 pm a 42-year-old male was arrested at the Brandon court office as he had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court on a previous occasion. He was held at Brandon Police station and will appear in court on January 19th, 2024.

On January 19th, 2024, at 01:44 am, 2024 police conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of 17th street. The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. He was arrested and released for court on February 18th, 2024.

 

Fail to comply with a release order.

On January 18th, 2024, at 09:10 a.m., police were called to the 2000 block of Lyndale drive for a male starting a fire with garbage. He was arrested for failing to comply with his release order. He was released for court on March 18th, 2024.

 

Theft Under $5000 and Public Mischief

On January 18th, 2024, police were called to a business in the 1200 block of 18th street for a shoplifter. A female had left the store with a cart full of clothing. Police attended and arrested a 37-year-old female for the theft. She also provided a false name and was subsequently charged for public mischief. She was released and will appear in court on March 28th, 2024.

 

Assault

On January 18th ,2024 an employee of a business in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue reported they were punched in the head by a client. A 37-year-old female was in the area and arrested for assault. She was released and will appear in court on March 28th, 2024.

 

Threats

On January 18th ,2024 an employer who runs a business in the 1800 block of 14th street called to report a disgruntled employee made numerous threats of violence towards him. A 43-year-old male was arrested and held for court on January 19th, 2024.

 

Intoxicated Person

On January 18th ,2024 at 9:37 pm police conducted a pedestrian stop in the 800 block of 8th street. A 30-year-old male was arrested as he was highly intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He will be released once sober.

 

Possession of Meth

On January 18th, 2024, at 11:37 p.m. police conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Van Horne Avenue. A passenger in the vehicle was observed to try to conceal a small baggy under his feet. A 30-year-old male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. He was released and will appear in court on March 14th, 2024.
