Uttering Threats

On February 25th at 08:40 am an employee from a business in the 900 block of 18th street north reported when she asked a male that was loitering to leave the store, he threatened to kill her. A 25-year-old male was arrested and will appear in court on April 22nd, 2024.

 

Assault with a weapon

On February 25th, a 14-year-old male was arrested for assault with a weapon. On February 16th, an institution in the 1900 block of 1st street reported the male had struck his 14-year-old ex-girlfriend over the head with a metal water bottle. No serious injuries were reported, and the accused will appear in court on April 30th, 2024.

 

Fail to comply with Release Orders

On February 25th at 2:00 pm Police attended to a residence in the 2200 block of Portola Driver to ensure a male was abiding by his release conditions. The 31-year-old male was arrested for breaching his release order by having multiple cell phones. He was held for court on February 26th, 2024.

 

On February 26th at 01:10 am Police conducted a pedestrian check in the 3500 block of Victoria Avenue. A 44-year-old intoxicated male was arrested. He was out past his court ordered curfew. The accused was held for court on February 26th, 2024.

 

On February 26th at 03:30 am Police conducted a pedestrian check in the 400 block of Frederick Street. A 36-year-old male was arrested for failing to comply with his release order. He was out past his curfew. The accused was held for court on February 26th, 2024.

 

Assault

On February 25th at 4:08 pm Police were called to a family disturbance at a residence on Orchard Way. A 50-year-old intoxicated male was arrested. The accused had assaulted a 45-year-old female and a 15-year-old female in the residence. The accused also made threats of harm towards the females and resisted arrested. He was held for court on February 26th, 2024.

 

Breach of Court Order

On February 25th at 7:46 pm. Police were called to a business in the 2100 block of Curry Boulevard for a male that was breaching his court order. A 55-year-old male was arrested as he was not to attend any place where a 38-year-old female was. He will appear in court on April 29th, 2024.

 

Breach of Peace

On February 25th at 9:05 p.m. police were called to a disturbance at a residence in the 500 block of 12th street. A 28-year-old intoxicated female was arrested and will be released in the morning.

 

Intoxicated Person

On February 25th at 10:40 pm a food delivery driver attended to Brandon Police service with an intoxicated female. The driver was attempting to make a food delivery on Rosser Avenue when the female ripped off his windshield wiper, jumped in his vehicle and passed out. The driver delivered the female to Brandon Police Service. She will be released in the morning.

 

Theft Under and Possess Meth

On February 26th at 03:27am police observed fresh footprints in the snow approaching cars and garages on Lynx Crescent. Police arrested a 32-year-old male found in the area with a stolen bike. The accused was also in possession of 18 grams of methamphetamine. He was held for court on February 26th, 2024.
