Theft Under $5000

On January 13, 2020, police received a report of the theft of merchandise from a business in the 1600 block of 18th street. The suspect’s image was captured on the businesses security camera, and the suspect was identified.

On February 18, 2020 shortly before 5:00 am, the 22-year-old male suspect was located near his residence and arrested. He will appear in court on March 16, 2020 no a charge of Theft Under $5000.

 

Fail to Comply with Conditional Sentence Order 

On February 17, 2020, police received a complaint of a male who was non-longer welcome in the residence where he had been staying, as he was not respecting the homeowner’s property, and they suspected him of stealing from them. Police learned that the 34-year-old male was to abide by conditions of a Conditional Sentence Order; however, he was in breach. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre to appear in court today.

 

Breach of Peace

On February 17, 2020, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male youth at a residence. Those around him were unable to prevent his actions from escalating, and they were concerned for his well-being. The 17-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre until he was sober.

 

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On February 18, 2020 shortly after midnight, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Princess Ave. A 20-year-old female passenger of the vehicle was to abide by a court ordered curfew. As she was in breach she was arrested and lodged at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court today.
