Assault with a Weapon
On August 4, 2020, police responded to a report of an assault with a weapon at a residence shortly before 6:00 pm. The 45-year-old male suspect pushed the victim, and then struck them in the face with an electrical cord. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspect was arrested and will appear in court on a later date on a charge of assault with a weapon.

On August 4, 2020, police responded to a report of an individual laying down on a sidewalk in the 1300 block of Rosser Ave. shortly before 8:00 pm. The individual was 27-year-old female who was intoxicated by alcohol. There was nobody to care for her so she was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
