Arrest Warrant: 

On April 5, 2024, at 11:59 am, police were dispatched to a hotel in the 3100 block of Victoria Avenue regarding a dispute over property.  Police met with the parties involved and the matter was resolved.  One of the persons involved, a 53 year old female, was found to have a warrant for her arrest.  The female was subsequently arrested and released with a future court date.

Arrest Warrant:

On April 5, 2024, at 2:47 pm, a 45 year old female attended the Brandon Police Service to deal with a warrant for her arrest.  The female was arrested on the strength of the warrant and released with a future court date.  Intoxicated Persons:

On April 5, 2024, at 2:50 pm, police were dispatched to the 500 block of 1st Street regarding an intoxicated female stumbling and falling down in the area.  Police located and arrested the highly intoxicated 29 year old female.  The female was lodged at the Brandon Police Station and later released once sober.

On April 5, 2024, at 5:17 pm, police were called to the area of Princess Avenue and 9th Street regarding an intoxicated individual.  Police located a 55 year old male who was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act.  The male was lodged at the Brandon Police Station and was later released once sober.

Breach of the Peace:

On April 6, 2024, at 12:41 am, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 100 block of 2nd Street.  Police determined that the problem was an intoxicated 20 year old female who was located in the area.  The female was arrested and lodged at the Brandon Police Station where she was later released.  

Structure Fire:

On April 6, 2024, at 1:34 am, police and fire/emergency services were dispatched to fire at a residence in the 300 block of 15th Street.   The fire was extinguished shortly after fire and emergency services arrived and appeared to have originated on the 3rd floor.  Emergency services located and transported an injured occupant of the 3rd floor suite to hospital.  The occupant had sustained injuries as a result of falling from a 3rd story window.  The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
