Fraud Under $5000

On April 24th a 38-year-old female was arrested for Fraud under $5000. On April 15th, 2024, a 46-year-old female reported that a women known to her had got into her bank account and transferred $1300 to herself. The accused was charged and released for court on July 4th, 2024.

 

Arrest Warrants

On April 24th at 3:31 pm Police attended to a residence in the 1600 block of McTavish Avenue. A 19-year-old male was arrested as he had an outstanding warrant for breaching his release order. He was held for court on April 25th, 2024.

 

On April 24th at 4:05 pm a property owner in the 300 block of 8th street reported a group of people congregating on his property in a suspicious manner. Police attended and the group was moved along. A 22-year-old female was found to have an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. She was held for court on April 25th, 2024.

 

Theft Under $5000

On April 24th at 6:30 pm an employee from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue reports that two males were in the store loading their arms full of pizza pops and chocolate bars. A 32-year-old male was located a short distance away with the stolen items. He was arrested and held for court as he was also breaching his release order. He will appear in court on April 25th, 2024.

 

Intoxicated Person

On April 24th at 8:44 pm a resident in the 100 block of Russell Street reported a female was hiding in the box of his truck, peeking out every so often. A 26-year-old female was arrested as she was under the influence and extremely paranoid. She will be released in the morning.

 

Impaired Driver

On April 24th at 11:53 pm a business in the 1200 block of 18th street reported an intoxicated driver leaving their parking lot. The vehicle was located, and the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol. A 40-year-old male was arrested and issued an Immediate Roadside Prohibition. He also had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. He will be released in the morning for court on June 18th, 2024.
