Break and Enter

On Friday morning, the owner of a business on Park Avenue East reported that some time overnight someone had entered the fenced compound and entered a number of storage lockers.  The event is still under investigation and it has yet to be determined exactly what has been taken.

 

Warrant Executed

Early Friday morning, police located a male in the 500 block of McTavish Avenue.  A check revealed that the 22-year-old Brandon male was wanted for failing to appear in court on an endorsed warrant.  The male was arrested and released for court in September.

 

Breach of Court Order

On Friday afternoon, police attended a downtown hotel for a male causing a disturbance.  A 28-year-old male from Brandon was causing problems and, when checked, found to be on a court order with a number of conditions, one of which was to abstain from the consumption of alcohol.  The male was arrested and held until sober at which time he was released for court in September.

 

Assault (Domestic)

At approximately 1:00 am, Saturday morning, police attended an address in the north end for a report of a domestic disturbance.  The female occupant disclosed that her common-law partner, who slapped her across the face, had assaulted her.  The female victim did not require medical attention.  The 38-year-old Brandon male was arrested at the scene and later released from custody.  He will appear in court in September.
