THEFT UNDER $ 5000.00 

On May 19th, 2023, at approximately 3 pm police attended to a residence in the 300 blk of Dennis Street looking for an 18 year old Brandon woman for an outstanding Unendorsed Warrant. The woman was located at that residence and was arrested without incident. The woman was lodged at BPS to appear in remand the following day.

 

BREAK AND ENTER – BUSINESS

On May 19th, 2023, at approximately 3 pm police received a complaint of a Break and Enter to a compound in the East End of Brandon. The business owner reported that sometime over night the perimeter fence had been cut and 2 ATV’s were stolen.

 

ARREST WARRANT

On May 19th, 2023, at approximately 911 pm police located and arrested a 33 year old Brandon man in the 100 blk of 20th Street. The man was found to have an Endorsed Warrant for Failing to Attend Court. The man was subsequently released on an Appearance Notice to appear in Brandon Court on July 17th, 2023.

 

ARREST WARRANT

On May 19th, 2023, at approximately 925 pm police attended to the area of the 2900 blk of McDonald Avenue regarding a complaint of a male subject checking cars in that area. Police did locate a 43 year old Brandon man who was found to have and Unendorsed Warrant for Fail to Attend Court. The man was arrested and lodged at BPS where he will appear in remand in the morning.

 

ARREST WARRANT

On May 19th, 2023, at approximately 928 pm police located and arrested a 33 year old Brandon man in the 400 blk of 9th Street. The man was found to have an Endorsed Warrant for Failing to Attend Court. The man was subsequently released on an Appearance Notice to appear in Brandon Court on July 10th, 2023.

 

THEFT UNDER $ 5000.00

On May 19th, 2023, police located and arrested a 40 year old Brandon woman at her residence in the west end of Brandon. The woman had been identified as being responsible for the theft of gas and some other items from a business in the central Brandon area. The woman was subsequently released on an Undertaking to appear in Brandon Court on May 23rd, 2023.

 

DRIVE IMPAIRED / DRIVE OVER

On May 20th, 2023, at 119 am police stopped a vehicle in the 2000 blk of Princess Avenue. Police observed the original driver switch places with the front seat passenger and then the vehicle drove off for a short distance. The car was subsequently boxed in by other police vehicles to stop the suspects car from leaving the scene. Both drivers who were both from outside Brandon a 35 year old man and a 48 year old woman where charged with Impaired Drive and Drive Over.08. Both were subsequently lodged at BPS and were released when sober on Appearance Notices. Both of these subjects will appear in Brandon Court on July 6th, 2023. Two other individuals who were passengers in the car and from rural Brandon, a 19 year old man and a 38 year old woman were also highly intoxicated were lodge at BPS and released when sober.

 

DOMESTIC ASSAULT / BREACH OF UNDERTAKING

On May 20th, 2023, at 319 am police attended to a Domestic related complaint in the 600 blk of Pacific Avenue. As a result of a complaint made by the victim, a 25 year old Brandon man was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault and breaching the conditions of a no contact order with the same victim. The accused was lodged at BPS to appear in remand in the am.

 

 ARREST WARRANT

On May 20th, 2023, at approximately 423 am police located and arrested a 25 year old Brandon woman in the 900 blk of Maryland Avenue. The woman was found to have an Unendorsed Warrant for Failing to Attend Court. The woman was subsequently lodged at BPS and will appear in remand in the morning.
