Stolen Vehicle

On May 18, 2023, at approximately 7:00 am police responded to the area of Highland Mobile Home Park for a report of a stolen vehicle. Sometime overnight, a guest of the homeowner took her vehicle without consent. The vehicle is a grey 2006, four door KIA Rio, MB license plate ANK 637.

Assault

On May 18, 2023, shortly before 11:00am police responded to the 3500 block of Willowdale Crescent for a report of an assault. The caller alleged that she had been assaulted by her partner. Upon further investigation it was revealed that she was the aggressor and was highly intoxicated. The 29-year-old female was placed under arrest. She will be released once sober to appear in court on July 10, 2023, on a charge of Assault.

Possession of Methamphetamine

On May 18, 2023, shortly after 8:00 pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the 4200 block of Victoria Avenue. The 37-year-old male passenger was found to be in possession of methamphetamine as well as fentanyl. He was arrested and later released to appear in court on July 13, 2023, on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Fentanyl.

Search Warrant

On May 18, 2023, shortly after 8:00 pm, police executed a search warrant in the 1200 block of Lorne Avenue. Located was 20 grams of Methamphetamine and various drug trafficking paraphernalia. As a result, the 43-year-old homeowner was arrested. She was later released to appear in court on July 13, 2023, on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.

Fail to Comply with Release Order

On May 18, 2023, shortly before 9:00 pm, police responded to the area of 000 block of 10th Street for report of an individual failing to comply with a condition of his Undertaking. Police located the 39-year-old male suspect who was in the company of a female he was to have no contact with. He was arrested and later released to attend court on July 6, 2023, on a charge of Fail to Comply with Undertaking.
