Homicide
On September 2, 2023, at approximately 8:51 am, police received a report of a homicide at a residence in Highland Park Mobile Home Estates.
Members attended to the residence and located a 63-year-old female, with serious injuries who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police immediately arrested a male occupant of the residence, 42-year-old, Stephen TEETAERT of Brandon. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and appeared in court on a charge of Second Degree Murder.
IPDA
On September 4, 2023, shortly before 8:00 am, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male in the area of the 900 block of Victoria Ave. The 49-year-old male was located, and in no condition to care for himself. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
Assault
On September 4, 2023, shortly before 10:00 am police responded to a report of an assault taking place in the area of the 900 block of Dennis Street. Police attended and located the individuals involved. The 32-male was not to have contact with the adult female victim, and he was arrested. The victim did not require medical attention. The suspect was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court on charges of Assault and Fail to Comply with Release Order.
Arrest Warrants
On September 3, 2023, police located and arrested a 19-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Undertaking. He was released to appear in court on November 2, 2023.
On September 3, 2023, a 33-year-old male attended to Brandon Police Service as he was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Comply with Probation. He was released to appear in court on October 5, 2023.
On September 3, 2023, police located and arrested a 39-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Assault. He was released to appear in court in October 2023.
On September 3, 2023, shortly before 10:00 pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance in a residence. One of the individuals involved was found to be wanted for Theft from another matter. Upon his arrest, police found that he was also in possession of a piece of stolen ID, a knife, Meth, and numerous break-in instruments. The 25-year-old male was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and appeared in court on charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possess Weapon, Possession of Break-in Instruments and Possess Meth.
On September 4, 2023, police located and arrested a 28-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Appear in Court. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and appeared in court on his charge.
