Brandon, MB – Nominations for the position of Mayor, City Councillor or School Trustee will continue to be received on Monday, September 19th, 2022 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
As City Hall will be closed on Monday, September 19th to recognize a day of mourning to honour Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, potential candidates must make an appointment to file nomination papers. Appointments can be made with the Senior Election Official by emailing brandonvotes@brandon.ca or calling 204-729-2206.
The official nomination period opened on Wednesday, September 14th and runs until the end of business day on Tuesday, September 20th. More information about the October 26th municipal election can be found at brandonvotes.ca.
