Brandon, MB – The City of Brandon invites all residents to come celebrate the holiday season with us at the City Hall Christmas Open House on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024 at 1 p.m., with the program to begin at 1:30 p.m.
This annual event includes a Christmas concert by the Brandon Community Orchestra, with participants ranging from preteens to seniors from various Westman communities. Students from Brandon University’s Suzuki Strings program will also perform. The program will feature a selection of Christmas music and classical pieces.
“On behalf of Brandon City Council, I am pleased to extend an invitation to our community to join us for a festive celebration at City Hall this holiday season,” stated Mayor Jeff Fawcett. “Our community has much to celebrate, and this event provides an excellent opportunity to come together and enjoy the holiday season.”
Brandon City Hall is located at 410 - 9th Street. Parking is available next to City Hall, and residents can enter through either the north or south doors. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Complimentary refreshments will be served following the Christmas concert.
