Brandon, MB - The City of Brandon Solid Waste Section will be updating the hours of operation at the Eastview Landfill Site, effective Monday, June 12, 2023. This will improve internal operations with minimal impact to residents and/or commercial customers.
This update will ensure that a certified landfill operator is always on site and certified staff are at the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) depot during hours of work. Reduced operating hours will also improve the level of service for residential collection, walkway bin pickups, and the collection of depot locations, all the while ensuring we are providing excellent service to our customers, without any major financial implications.
The new hours of operation are as follows, effective Monday, June 12, 2023:
Monday
8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. (Previously open until 7:45 p.m.)
Tuesday
Wednesday
8 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Thursday
Friday
Saturday
8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Sunday
Closed (Previously open 11 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.)
Statutory Holidays
Effective October 1, 2023, the regular fall / winter hours of operation will commence as follows: Monday to Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.; Sundays and Statutory Holidays: Closed.
