Brandon, MB – City of Brandon Parks & Recreation Services is pleased to present the 2022 Annual Report. With a mandate to improve the quality of life for our residents, this inaugural annual report showcases the many exciting projects, programs, and events from the past year.
Parks is made up of 2 sections, Forestry & Horticulture and Greenspace Maintenance, where a wide range of staff maintain and upgrade City parks, playgrounds, recreation facilities and greenspaces.
Recreation Services focuses on facilities and programming with a large portfolio of both free programming and paid programming available to the public. They also oversee Brandon’s Community Sportsplex, the Brandon Youth Centre, and Outdoor Water facilities.
“City of Brandon Parks and Recreation Services is committed to enhancing the quality of life for Brandon residents, and we play a significant role in shaping the character of the city,” notes Perry Roque, Director of Parks and Recreation Services.
