Brandon, MB – Please be advised of the following hours of operation for Remembrance Day, Friday, November 11th, 2022, at the City of Brandon:
Brandon City Hall (410 - 9th Street), A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex (638 Princess Avenue), Civic Services Complex (900 Richmond Avenue East) and Parks Complex (2020 McGregor Avenue) will be closed.
Brandon Transit will be running holiday hours from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Transit Information Centre will be closed.
Brandon’s Community Sportsplex will be closed.
Brandon’s Youth Centre will be closed.
Eastview Landfill will be closed. Regular refuse, recycle, and green cart collection that would have been collected on Friday will be collected on Saturday, November 12.
Brandon Municipal Cemetery is located on 18th Street South and is open to the public seven days a week from dawn to dusk. The Cemetery Office will be closed.
All after-hours Public Works emergencies should be directed to the City of Brandon Public Works After-Hours Line at 204-729-2285.
The City of Brandon honours every veteran and service member who has served our country. All City of Brandon flags will be lowered to half-mast in honour of Remembrance Day. “At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.” (For the Fallen by Robert Laurence Binyon)
