Appointment to the Board of Revision

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE City Council will be considering one (1) citizen appointment to the Board of Revision for an interim position to commence on October 27, 2022, and end December 31, 2022.

The Board's responsibility is to each year, revise and finalize the Business, Personal and Real Property Assessment Rolls. Upon completion of such rolls by the municipal assessor, the members of this Board sit to hear appeals on such assessment of properties and to revise said rolls of the City in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Assessment Act and the Municipal Act.

Should any person be interested in becoming a member of the Board, application forms are available at https://www.brandon.ca/council-information/committees-and-boards or can be picked up at and returned to the Legislative Services Office, Second Floor, City Hall, 410 - 9th Street, NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 29, 2022.

All applications shall be considered by City Council in its selection process, and such appointments shall be final.
