Brandon, MB – The City of Brandon’s Sanitation Section wishes to advise residents of the 2020 holiday hours and the collections schedule for the holiday season.
Holiday Hours at the Eastview Landfill Site
Regular winter hours of operation will apply for the Eastview Landfill Site and Material Recovery Facility during the holidays except for the following days:
Regular hours of operation at the Eastview Landfill Site are Monday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Regular hours of operation at the Material Recovery Facility are Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Garbage and Recycling Collections Schedule
Solid waste collections will be impacted slightly during the holidays in order to accommodate the Christmas Day and New Year’s Day holidays that fall on Friday this year.
The regular pickup day will still be in effect for those areas receiving collection on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Regular Friday collection will resume on Friday January 8, 2021.
Residents are reminded to have your carts out by 6:00 a.m. on your collection day to ensure you are not missed. More information on the Collection Schedule can be found at brandon.ca/collection/collection-schedule-maps
