Appointments to Boards and Committees of City Council

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE City Council will be considering citizen appointments to various boards and
committees of City Council as listed hereunder:

  • Board of Revision 4 positions for 1 year term
  • Poverty Committee 1 position for 2 year term
  • Age Friendly Committee 4 positions for 2 year terms
  • Brandon Municipal Heritage Advisory Committee 5 positions for 2 year terms
  • Brandon General Museum & Archives Inc. 6 positions for 2 year terms
  • Brandon Urban Aboriginal Peoples’ Council 2 positions for 2 year terms
  • Western Manitoba Regional Library Board 2 positions for 2 year terms


Should any person be interested in becoming involved on a particular committee, application
forms are available at https://www.brandon.ca/council-information/committees-and-boards or can be picked up at and returned to the Legislative
Services Office, Second Floor, City Hall, 410 - 9th Street, NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 18, 2020.

All applications shall be considered by City Council in its selection process, and such
appointments shall be final.
