- Save space in your blue cart by flattening boxes and breaking down your materials.
- Toss the recyclables in loosely but do not stuff the items inside one another as they may not be sorted correctly.
- Ensure your containers are empty and if possible, give a quick rinse.
- Labels and lids can be left on your food and beverage containers.
- DO NOT contaminate your cart by placing non-recyclable items inside the cart.
- Avoid using bags when possible, however black bags are never accepted – if you need to use a bag it must be clear or translucent blue in colour only.
