Grants and Incentives
Grants are financial contributions provided by the City of Brandon to support local organizations, events, and initiatives that benefit the community. These funds are typically awarded to non-profits, charities, and community-based groups to help them deliver programs, services, or events that align with the city's strategic goals and enhance the quality of life for residents.

- The committee will begin to review applications as early as September but may proceed into the fall.
- A recommendation may go before council for preliminary approval in November or December and may be subject to change during and after budget deliberations.
- The final decision is made in April during the adoption of the financial plan in the year the Grants are applied for.
- Grants are processed in the year after they are received.

Before applying, ensure your organization or project meets the eligibility criteria. Grants are typically available to:
- Registered non-profits or charities
- Community-based groups
- Organizations with a clear benefit to Brandon residents
