Compensation Disclosure

In accordance with the Public Sector Compensation Disclosure Act, the City of Brandon is required to prepare an annual report disclosing compensation paid to all members of Council of The City of Brandon, and a list of officers or employees who received compensation from The City of Brandon in excess of $75,000. Prior to 2019's report, the Public Sector Compensation Disclosure Act required a listing of officers or employees receiving compensation from the City of Brandon in excess of $50,000.

As per the Act, compensation includes cash and non-cash salary or payments (such as clothing allowances, boot allowances, and tool allowances), as well as taxable benefits (such as employer-provided parking).

These reports are prepared in order for the City of Brandon to meet the requirements of Section 2 of the Public Sector Compensation Disclosure Act and as a result, the report may not be suitable for another purpose.
