Civic Addressing and Street Names

Assignment of Civic Addresses

The Real Estate Section can only issue one civic address to each roll number within the City of Brandon.

When lands are subdivided or a roll number is split due to a sale, the Real Estate Section can issue civic addresses.

Multiple Unit Civic Addressing

In the instance of a new duplex or apartment block, the Real Estate Section issues one civic address for the building. Therefore, each apartment/suite will then be given a separate number at that address.

Example: Suite #3, 15 Bluebird Way.

Display of Civic Addresses

The Council of the City of Brandon passed By-law No. 6566 for the visible display of civic addresses on buildings and houses.
