Brandon Community Sportsplex

30 Knowlton Dr, Brandon, MB R7A 2P9

The Brandon Community Sportsplex is one of Westman's premier athletic facilities, and features an indoor swimming pool, hockey arena, and racquetball courts, as well and a 400m outdoor track and track and field amenities.

The Sportsplex first opened its doors in December 1978 and was built as a venue for the 1979 Canada Winter Games that were hosted in Brandon. And it received extensive upgrades to the track & field and pool facilities in the lead up to Brandon hosting the 1997 Canada Summer Games. More recently, a complete reconstruction of the swimming pool was completed in 2019, and the construction of a new ice plant in the arena was completed in 2025.

The Brandon Community Sportsplex regularly hosts regional and provincial swim and track meets and was the 2018 & 2018 host venue for the Legion National Youth Track and Field Championships. In 2026 the Sportsplex hosted the Manitoba Junior Provincials Long Track Swim Meet, and Racquetball Manitoba Provincial Championships.
