Councillor Barry Cullen

Councillor Cullen is entering his third term as the Councillor of Ward 3, where he has been a long-time resident with his wife Donna and where they raised their three children, Lindsay, Samantha, and Kurtis. For the last 35-years, Barry has owned and operated his own business in downtown Brandon, Keywest Photo Image by Design.

Barry is no stranger to community service, as he had held various positions in community and business groups within Brandon as well as Manitoba as a whole. Past roles include positions such as:

  • President of the Keystone Lions Club
  • Campaign Chair for the Brandon and District United Way
  • President of the Brandon Chamber of Commerce
  • A 2-year term in the Manitoba Chamber of Commerce

 

In his time on Council, Barry has had the pleasure of being on various different boards and committees. He holds a particular interest in conservation and the opportunity to represent Brandon as a board member with the Assiniboine Riverbasin Initiative (RB), a water stewardship group comprised on representation from across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and North Dakota.

Councillor Cullen is excited with the opportunity to continue engaging with the community as a Councillor in the City of Brandon for the coming four years.

  • Personnel Committee
  • Brandon Police Board
  • Taxi Appeal Committee
  • Assiniboine Hills Conservation District
