Councillor Hildebrand is both thrilled and proud to represent his neighbours in his home ward. He, and his wife Candace, moved to Brandon with their 3 children 14 years ago from Winnipeg to find a great city and neighborhood to call home. They live almost in the middle of the ward close to Meadows School where all three children attended elementary and middle school. Two of their children are now in University (University of Saskatchewan and Brandon University) with their youngest set to graduate in 2023 from Vincent Massey who is then planning to attend BU as well.
Greg is a licenced funeral director and is a past president of the Manitoba Funeral Service Association. Currently furthering his education, Greg is working towards an MBA in Community Economic Development through Cape Breton University offered in partnership with Assiniboine Community College.
Throughout the kids sports years, Greg was active either as a fan or coach in hockey, baseball, rugby and volleyball. Greg and his family attend McDiarmid Drive Alliance Church. Together with family and friends, Greg enjoys a variety of activities including camping, boating, fishing, household projects and board games.
Councillor Hildebrand believes we are part of a great city and looks forward to representing the residents in his ward and the city as a whole in an open and transparent way.
