Spring has sprung and Brandon has begun its annual transition from the winter season. The exciting feeling of spring with warmer temperatures, returning birds, and trees and plants waking up is also met by clean up activities. The City will be busy street sweeping to clear away the remnants of our mild winter’s sanding operations. This year’s frequent freeze-thaw conditions were ripe for the creation of more prolific potholes which our crews are now tackling with earnest.
We look forward to an active and enjoyable time of year with kids returning to outdoor sports and other activities while citizens spend time in their yards or hitting the parks and golf courses.
Mayor Rick Chrest
