Celebration Tree and Bench Program

The Celebration Tree and Bench Program offers a meaningful way to honour a loved one, commemorate a special occasion, or celebrate a significant moment while enhancing our community’s green spaces.

Tree Celebration
Your donation covers the cost of the tree, planting, watering, and maintenance by City staff for two years. After this period, the tree continues to grow under Mother Nature’s care. Donors are invited to a small planting event, receive a commemorative certificate, and have their name added to a digital plaque on the City website. Tree species, planting locations, and planting dates are selected by Parks & Recreation Services staff.

Celebration Bench & Picnic Table
The Celebration Bench and Picnic Table Program provides a lasting tribute within our parks and green spaces. Donors may choose either a bench or a picnic table, each featuring a custom inscription to commemorate their moment. Your contribution ensures the dedication remains in place for 10 years, creating a meaningful legacy while enhancing the park experience for the entire community.
