Collection Cart Verification Project Underway

Brandon, MB - City of Brandon Solid Waste Services is currently completing a city‑wide collection cart verification project. As part of this work, residents will receive a Waste Guide Pamphlet in the mail outlining what materials are accepted in each cart and listing the serial numbers assigned to your carts.

Each cart’s serial number is assigned to a specific property and is used for tracking purposes. To help avoid mix‑ups with neighbouring carts, as well as any potential issues such as contamination notices, residents are encouraged to clearly note the serial number and/or write their property address on each cart.

As we work to reduce contamination at the Eastview Landfill, it’s important that education efforts and any potential contamination notices are directed to the correct household. Ensuring you have the correct cart helps prevent warnings or tickets for contamination that may not be your responsibility.
