Christmas and New Year's Day Holiday Hours

Brandon, MB – The City of Brandon wishes to advise of the following hours of operation for the 2025 Christmas and New Year’s holiday hours of operation.

Brandon City Hall (410-9th St.), A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex (638 Princess Ave.), Civic Services Complex (382 Park Ave. E.), and Parks Complex (2020 McGregor Ave.) will be closed:

• Thu, Dec. 25
• Fri, Dec. 26
• Thu, Jan. 1
  
  

Brandon Transit hours:

• Dec. 24               6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Dec. 25               No regular transit. Access Transit will be running for scheduled appointments.
• Dec. 26               9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Dec. 31               6 a.m. to January 1 at 3 a.m.
• Jan. 1                 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Transit Information Centre will be closed Dec. 25, 26, and Jan. 1. 

Ring in the New Year with Brandon Transit! Ride Brandon Transit for free New Year’s Eve from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Brandon’s Community Sportsplex hours:

• Dec. 24               7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Dec. 25               Closed
• Dec. 26               Closed
• Dec. 31               7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Jan. 1                   Closed

Brandon’s Youth Centre will be closed Dec. 24, 25, 26, 31, and Jan. 1.

The Eastview Landfill will be closed Dec. 25, 26, and Jan. 1. 

• There will be no regular collection on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. Instead, collection will take place on the following Sat, Dec. 27 (in lieu of Christmas Day) and Sat, Jan. 3 (in lieu of New Year's Day).
• Regular collection will continue Dec. 26 (Boxing Day). 

Please remember to have your carts out by 6 a.m. on your collection day.

Regular hours of operation are in place Dec 29 – 31 and return on Fri, Jan. 2, 2026.
