4R Waste Ambassador Program

The City of Brandon’s 4R Waste Ambassador Program offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both our community and the environment. This volunteer program empowers local residents to become passionate advocates for sustainability by promoting the 4 R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rethink.

As a 4R Waste Ambassador, you’ll gain the tools and knowledge to educate others about proper waste management practices—whether it’s at community events, schools, or local organizations. You’ll play a key role in helping others understand "what goes in what bin" and encourage more sustainable behaviors, including increased recycling, waste reduction, and organic diversion across the city.

Interested in having a 4R Waste Ambassador at your community event? We’d love to support your efforts! Whether we’re hosting an event, distributing educational materials, or assisting with local recycling drives, we’re here to help make a difference. If you’re planning an event, we’d be excited to collaborate—just email us for more details on how we can work together.

The 4R Waste Ambassador Program is not only helping make Brandon a cleaner, greener place to live—it is also contributing to a more sustainable future for everyone. To learn more or get involved, contact us at 4rwasteambassador@brandon.ca. Together, we can create a positive environmental impact!
