Halloween just got a little sweeter! The City of Brandon Environment Team is excited to announce a Fair Trade Chocolate Giveaway, featuring a prize pack valued at $100. This special giveaway celebrates Fair Trade Month and highlights products that support ethical and sustainable practices around the world.

  • One box of Camino Chocolate Minis (150 treats)
  • Four Camino Fair Trade Chocolate Bars

City of Brandon Environment Instagram & Facebook Tagging Contest

Fair Trade Chocolate Giveaway Contest Rules 

1.       To enter, qualify and confirm compliance with contest rules and regulations, please tag five people on the City of Brandon Environment Instagram and Facebook Account post. CONTEST CLOSES: 10 a.m. CST on October 29th, 2025. 

2.       Prizes. One box of Camino Minis (150 per box) which are a perfect Fair Trade Halloween treat and four Camino Fair Trade chocolate bars (from Milk to Almond to Dark Chocolate). Approximate value $100.00. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable. One prize will be awarded per contest winner. The odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received by the contest closing date. 

3.       Selection Process. All selections will be made at random from among all eligible entries received by the contest closing date and time. Draws will be made at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 29th, 2025. Selected entrants will be contacted through Instagram or Facebook direct message. The selected winner must claim their prize within 24 hours. If the prize is not claimed within 24 hours, a second winner will be selected and contacted. 

4.       No correspondence will be entered into except with potential winners.  

5.       All decisions of the City are final. Prizes will be awarded to the confirmed winner by the City and available for pick up at the A.R. McDiarmid Building on Princess Avenue. All entries become the property of the City. No responsibility will be taken for entries lost, misdirected, or delayed. 

6.       By entering the contest, the winners, if requested, agree and consent to having their names and photos used without compensation for advertising purposes related to this contest. The winners also agree and consent that their names may be posted on the City’s website or any of its social media accounts.  

7.       The contest is open to all residents of Brandon within city limits. 

8.       An entrant under the age of majority must have a parent or legal guardian consent to their participation. Proof of identification and parent consent must be provided upon request. If a parent or legal guardian does not provide consent, the entry will be disqualified.  

9.       Any contact information you submit will be stored in order to enable the City of Brandon to confirm your entry and for purposes related to paragraph 6. The City of Brandon may keep certain submitted data for statistical and analytical purposes. Personal information will not be used or disclosed for other purposes, unless permitted under The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). This information is protected under the Protection of Privacy provisions of FIPPA. 10.    The City of Brandon is not liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the use of, or reliance on, the information, material or links contained on its website, or on any third-party website linked to the City website or the City’s social media accounts. 

11.    The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, municipal, and local laws and regulations.
