Snow Clearing Update - Feb. 24, 2026

Brandon, MB - Please see the following snow clearing update as of Feb. 24, 2026:

Street Clearing Update

Crews are currently working in Zone B and are expected to move into Zone C tonight. (Note: Garbage and recycling collection is currently taking place in Zone C today, so crews will only be able to proceed in Zone C tonight if collection carts are pulled back in).
Zones A + F were completed yesterday, with the exception of a few streets where parked vehicles prevented access.
Once all residential zones have been cleared, the City will issue a parking ban to allow crews to clear any remaining streets.

Back Lane Clearing

Crews are clearing in Route 2 and then will move into Route 3
Back lane clearing occurs from 12 Midnight to 8 a.m.

Sidewalks

Sidewalk clearing on primary routes is ongoing from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Crews are expected to begin clearing secondary routes this afternoon.

Anticipated Residential Zone Schedule (subject to change)

A + F: 6 a.m., Mon, Feb. 23
B + C: 6 a.m., Tue, Feb. 24
D + G: 6 p.m., Wed, Feb. 25
E: 6 a.m., Fri, Feb. 27
