Snow Clearing Update - Feb. 19, 2026

Brandon, MB – Crews continue to work diligently to clear streets, sidewalks, and back lanes.


Street Clearing

Snow clearing is ongoing on Priority 1A route. Crews are expected to start in Route 2 and 6 tomorrow at 12 noon.

Priority Routes Schedule (subject to change):

  • P1A:     12 a.m., Thu, Feb. 19
  • 2 + 6:    12 p.m., Fri, Feb. 20
  • 4 + 5:    12 p.m., Sat, Feb. 21
  • 1 + 3:    12 p.m., Sun, Feb. 22


Sidewalks, Multi-Use Paths & Backlanes

  • Sidewalk clearing has begun on the primary route.
  • Multi-Use paths are in progress and are anticipated to be completed by midnight tonight.
  • Crews have inspected back lanes and have noted most back lanes have been relatively unaffected by the snowfall. Crews are continuing to clear areas in Route 3 where there are snow drifts.

 

All sidewalk and street clearing progress will be updated and available on snowmap.brandon.ca.

Residents can track progress on snowmap.brandon.ca which will be updated tonight, prior to crews beginning snow clearing operations.
