Snow Clearing Update - Dec. 19, 2025

Brandon, MB - Since Wednesday, we’ve received approx. 10 cm of snow. We recognize there may be localized drifting requiring attention. However, our current focus remains on Priority Routes and residential streets that have not yet received snow clearing.
Street Clearing:
  • Crews restarted the Priority 1A Route at 12 Noon today. Once completed, crews will continue into the remaining priority routes.
  • Crews finished clearing all residential zones prior to today’s snowfall, except for 34 blocks due to parked vehicles on the street.

Parking Ban Notification:

  • The City is issuing a Parking Ban on 34 streets that could not be cleared and clear them over the weekend.
  • Residents are reminded to adhere to No Parking signs to allow timely plowing. Vehicles are parked in a no-parking zone are at risk of being ticketed and/or towed.

Sidewalk & Multi-Use Paths:
  • Sidewalks clearing begins at midnight tonight on the P1 route.
  • Multi-Use Paths clearing begins at 8 a.m. tomorrow.
Back Lane Clearing:
  • Crews will begin clearing Route 1 on Mon, Dec. 22 at 12 a.m. Lanes will only be cleared on an as-needed basis due to snow drifts.
