Snow Clearing Update - Dec. 18, 2025

Roads, sidewalks, and multi-use paths may become icy and slippery due to changing weather conditions. Please use extra caution and travel safely! 

 Street Clearing

• Crews are assessing the effects of yesterday’s storm and will begin clearing the P1A route tomorrow, Dec. 19 at 12 noon, followed immediately by the remaining priority routes. If snowfall meets the requirement for a City-Wide event, tomorrow's update will include a revised schedule.
• Crews are working today to finish clearing Residential Zone E, which marks the final residential zone that needed to be cleared. 
• While crews have been clearing residential areas, some streets could not be cleared due to parked vehicles. The schedule for returning to complete snow removal on these remaining streets will be determined based on snowfall expected within the next 24 hours.

• Crews are evaluating the storm’s impact and will provide an updated schedule tomorrow.

Visit snowmap.brandon.ca to track snow clearing progress, including sidewalks and back lanes. Residents can also view the location of City-owned graders during an active snow clearing operation.

Once crews have completed snow clearing operations in your area, any missed areas can be reported online at brandon.ca/report-an-issue.

In addition to the designated snow routes, parking restrictions may be enforced in residential areas during snow clearing operations. Signs will be posted by 4 p.m. Please watch for No Parking signs in your neighbourhood.
