Snow Clearing Update – Dec. 11, 2025

Brandon, MB – Crews continue to work diligently to clear streets, sidewalks, and back lanes following this week’s snowfall.

Street Clearing

Snow clearing is ongoing on Priority 1A routes. Please refer to the anticipated schedule for altered tentative start times. Crews are expected to move into Routes 2 and 6 at 8 p.m. tonight.

Sidewalks & Multi-Use Paths

  • Multi-Use paths are now complete.
  • Sidewalk clearing continues on Priority routes and is expected to be finished by mid-day tomorrow. Once complete, crews will begin clearing secondary routes.

All sidewalk and street clearing progress will be updated and available on snowmap.brandon.ca.

Back Lane Clearing

Crews completed Routes 3 and 4 last night. Route 1 is scheduled for completion by Friday, Dec. 12 at 4 p.m. Once Route 1 is complete, all back lanes that receive maintenance will be cleared.

Sign up for text alerts at textme.brandon.ca to receive notifications when snow events begin and as crews move through city routes.

Visit snowmap.brandon.ca to track snow clearing progress, including sidewalks and back lanes. Residents can also view the location of City-owned graders during an active snow clearing operation.

Once crews have completed snow clearing operations in your area, any missed areas can be reported online at brandon.ca/report-an-issue.

In addition to the designated snow routes, parking restrictions may be enforced in residential areas during snow clearing operations. Signs will be posted by 4 p.m. Please watch for No Parking signs in your neighbourhood.
