Recent Solid Waste Services Collection Letter Sent in Error

Last week, some households received a letter stating that weekly solid waste collection would be moving from backlane pickup to front street pickup.

While the City is exploring ways to improve collection services, this letter was sent prematurely and had not yet been fully reviewed or discussed with City Council. A follow‑up letter will be mailed to all affected households rescinding this change.

If you received the original notice, please disregard it and continue placing your bins in your usual location.
